Happy New Years! What a year this has been for SOLOSOCKS. Thank you for being a part of our journey.

Production

Here's a quick update on how everything is going with the production of SOLOSOCKS Share. We've paid the first Purchase Order to our producers, and are now awaiting the socks here in Denmark. We have produced all the styles in the campaign, including the stretchgoals that were reached.

We expect the socks to arrive in late february/early march. You can expect to have them in your mailbox in March! As soon as we have them, our first priority is to ship them out to you guys. Once that is done, we will focus on getting the socks to the homeless

Donating the socks to the homeless

As mentioned in our last update, we have established partnerships with a lot of awesome organisations that help the homeless all around the world. As soon as your socks are shipped, we will prepare the packs of the warm and durable socks to the homeless. If you have answered our survey, you have chosen the organisation that you want to donate to.

Once we have all the socks for the homeless, we will count how many of you chose the different organisations, and we will box up all the socks and send it their way. We are currently communicating with all of them, to plan the logistics of sending them all the socks, to all their different locations around the world.

Locking orders

We will locking shipping addresses soon. That means you have two days to update your shipping address in your BackerKit survey.

If you need to review your shipping address, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://solosocks-share.backerkit.com.

If you haven’t answered your survey yet, you can still fill it out to get your rewards, but your shipment may be delayed.

If you need to change your shipping address, please make the changes in your BackerKit survey in the next two days.

All orders will be locked on January 2nd.

Survey coming tomorrow!

Dear backers,

We've been working really hard on securing the last details with our producer and our partner organizations, as well as setting up the survey. Please read this important update. 

BackerKit survey is coming!

Tomorrow we will send out the survey which means that you will be able to choose which socks you want! We're expecting to receive the funds from Kickstarter shortly, and as soon as they arrive, we will place a production order with our producer. 

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfil your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

Making changes to your pledge

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://solosocks-share.backerkit.com.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https:// solosocks-share.backerkit.com/faq.

We made it! Thank you to everyone who has supported our campaign. We're really happy that we got funded. We will deliver 4300 socks to you, and 4300 socks to the homeless.

Now the process of creating the surveys for you guys begins. Please give us a few days to prepare the final survey that we will send to you, where you can choose which socks you want. You will also have the possibility to add more socks to your order.

We're only awaiting confirmation from the last organisations that we partnered with, so we can send you the full list of all the organisations that we will donate socks to. If you have any recommendations for a great organisation in your country, working with the homeless, let us know!

If you are following this campaign, and still haven't pledged, now is your final chance. 

For every pair we sell, we donate a pair to the homeless in your country. The socks are sold at an exclusively low price now on Kickstarter, and in 3 days it will be too late.

Donating the first socks

 Last Monday we started giving out some of the socks in Copenhagen, Denmark, where we are based. It was amazing to see the faces of some of the people we gave warm winter socks. The winter in Copenhagen can get ruthlessly cold, so keeping warm is extremely important when living on the streets.

 
Get free shipping 

It's still possible to get free worldwide shipping and save those €6. By upgrading from 1,2,3 or 4 pairs, to 5, 10 or 20 pairs, you will get free shipping! And you will get a better price for your socks. Here's how to do it:

3. Upgrade to 5 or more pairs.

Surveys are coming!

Within 7 days after the campaign ends, we'll be sending out a survey to all of you. In this survey you will be able to choose your socks. The survey will come from BackerKit. We will send you an update when the survey is out, and ready to be answered.

We've reached 200% funding! Woohoo! And that means that the pizza socks are now available for pre-order! Once our campaign ends, you will be able to choose them in your survey.

The next stretch goal

We're really hoping that we will reach the next stretch goal! If we reach €30.000 we will donate 300 extra socks to the homeless! We hope you will help us realise this goal! That would just be amazing.
